~ Autumn ~

Summer is fading away my friends
Slow coming in but quickly it ends
Soon green trees will turn to gold
Autumn in the air beautiful to behold.

The forests aflame in autumn splendor
Rare gifts of nature God does render
Lovely chrysanthemums are in bloom
In the dark night shines a harvest moon.

It is easy to retreat into autumn
Often we just stop and stare
Taking time to enjoy the moment
And know that we are in God's care.

Autumn a wealth of color all over this land
Scattered about with such a lavish hand
No other season can compare
We see God's handiwork everywhere.
