Off and on, throughout the day
You wander near, so close to me,
I feel as if you're here anyway
as I imagine much that you would say
and things you'd like to see.

So, even though you are far away
In another world apart,
God has you right here, talking
listening, participating
in my life, just as if you are...

And then at the close of day
I have accumulated from the start
so much, I just have to share,
for all along I know you care
as we walk here, heart in heart
