Autumn's
Last
Kiss
~
Comes
the
final
days
of
autumn
Reach
and
take
a
lasting
draw,
Of
the
fragrances,
the
wonder
ever
fading
The
loveliness
of
fall.
Come
wander
down
a
leafy
lane
with
me
And
kick
the
rustle
high,
Dance
with
abandon,
twirl
with
pretty
leaves
And
breathe
one
passing
sigh.
Gaze
long
upon
the
mountain
tops
The
hues
of
rusty
red,
Dwell
upon
the
memory,
bask
in
it
today
Take
that
long
deep
breath.
Stretch
high
and
pluck
an
apple
Enjoy
that
autumn
crisp,
Hold
a
golden
blossom,
turn
it
in
your
hand
Then
press
it
to
your
lips.
Kiss
the
last
lone
butterfly
Wave
farewell
to
honking
geese,
Bid
goodbye,
then
dream
of
autumn's
glow
And
all
it's
glory
you
will
miss.
As
the
flowers,
with
one
last
fleeting
smile,
Tuck
in
their
pretty
little
heads,
To
rest
beneath
the
falling
leaves
God's
cover
on
their
beds.

The
last
warmth
of
the
sun.
Chilly
mornings
and
glorious
warm
afternoons.
The
Harvest
Moon.
The
Hunter's
Moon.
The
Rainy
Season.
The
touch
of
frost
on
grass
and
window
pane.
The
last
smell
of
burning
leaves.

"Live
in
each
season
as
it
passes:
breathe
the
air,
drink
the
drink,
taste
the
fruit."
-Henry
David
Thoreau~
Falling
leaves-
simply
God's
way
of
saying
sunshine
it's
time
to
wave
goodbye,
we'll
see
you
very
soon
