~ A Winter Storm With You ~

It's snowing outside once again,
And they've forecasted a winter storm,
But I'm alright here inside,
I've got you to keep me warm.

The Christmas lights are twinkling,
We're wrapped up in a throw,
Lost in the arms of each other,
As the cold wind begins to blow.

The fire is making crackling sounds,
Shadows are dancing on the wall,
You kiss me gently on the cheek,
As more snow begins to fall.

We both gaze out the window,
The snow is taking on shapes and forms,
This Christmas Eve is quiet,
But I have you to keep me warm.

Outside a winter storm is raging,
But inside, your love is given to me,
Our hearts are speaking to each other,
On this night of Christmas Eve.
