~ Baby's First Christmas ~

For baby's very first Christmas
It's time we all get wise
It's not the cute little toys
That's sure to catch their eyes

It's not a cute little doll
Or ball or rocking horse
But it's the box and paper
That baby likes of course!

Pretty tied up bows
And paper shining bright
Really gets them excited
More than Christmas lights

They love to tear the paper
Get in a box and play
Forget about those toys
Just put them all away

We could save a lot of money
If we listen to those babes
But we're so used to pleasing us
We keep spending all we've made
