~ THE BALLAD OF THANKSGIVING
DAY -
STUFFING ANYONE? ~
How could it be Thanksgiving
again?
There are people all over my
house.
There are aunts and uncles
and kids a screamin'
No one is being quiet as a
mouse.
Why is someone in my
bathroom?
Don't you know that's my
name on the door?
No one told me it would be
like this,
Every year, we invite more
and more.
I hope we're allowed to eat
breakfast this year,
Cuz the smell makes me
hungry as a bear.
At least my bathroom is
unoccupied now,
Oops! Was that Aunt Lucy in
her underwear??? YUK!!!!
Well, I guess I just have to
accept it.
I wont get to eat, if I run
away.
I thought that Thanksgiving
was all about peace,
But there ain't none of that
here today.
Mom was up cooking the
entire night long,
But she wont give me one
little bite.
Yet, she makes Dad stand
there and taste the
dressing,
Until he finally says "Ahhhhhh,
that's just right!"
There are all kinds of
goodies spread everywhere.
All my aunts brought their
favorite treat.
Everyone is waiting to get
in line for the race,
Cuz we are more than ready
to eat.
Now the time is closer, the
turkey is stuffed,
And Mom yells that it is
time to say grace.
So we all hold hands and
thank our Dear Lord,
SHOUT AMEN AND 'START
STUFFING OUR FACE!!!!'

Philippians 2:10-11:
That at the name of Jesus,
every knee shall bow, of
things in Heaven,
and things in earth, and
things under the earth; And
that every tongue
should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father.
