Beary Lessons ~
Aw, if I do have to learn so much
more
What sweet stuff would we choose,
How shall I learn all about loving
And how many hugs will we use.
I don't want my backside walloped
Beary black and blue,
So, do tell me up front fuzzy-wuzzy
friend
When sometimes I am untrue.
Do I growl and grizzle far too
long
Or do I cheer enough,
Tell me if I'm all ragged round
the edges
And if my stories make you laugh.
Yet, when you are all so beary sad
May I feel your trickling tears,
I'd want to put my hand up to pray
When you're plodding through some
fears.
Oh, please don't scowl that old
grumpy look
If sometimes I am scrambling late,
And if I ever tread on your toes
I'd like to just wipe clean the
slate.
I'll try to be so beary good
To add good and take and multiply,
I'll do my homework, sit up
straight
But, all the same I will never get
to graduate
'Cause I'll never say goodbye.
