Just sometimes
A friend falls from the heavens
Who is so beary precious
That you delight in
From the start
For they play the tune
Of friendship
That echoes in your heart

Just sometimes
That tune will keep playing
Not just a moment
But a whole year through
Until at Christmas time
You find with surprise
You're still crooning the same song
Just like me and you
