~ A Beautiful Night ~

Stars appear on this beautiful night
A big golden moon so bright
All creatures of the day
Are quiet as twilight wings its way.

Birds are resting in the trees
As leaves blow in a gentle breeze
Shadows of the night begin to fall
As darkness descends over all.

Everything is quiet and so still
Shadows dancing atop the hill
So peaceful is this quiet time
A night that is yours and mine.

God is smiling down from above
This beautiful night shows His love
Now darkness has replaced the light
Thank you, God, for this beautiful night.
