~ The Beauty Of Easter ~

Easter is so beautiful
with all the flowers God has made
It is loving one another
and sharing the love our dear Lord gave

A pretty Easter basket,
with chocolate bunnies, yellow chicks
Eggs you can see through,
memories which have passed
The beauty of Easter is spring, walking in the grass

Brand new outfits with lovely bonnets too
A loving home so warm, a dish prepared or two
Shoes to show off, going to church to say,
Christ is arisen
Being thankful for this resurrection day

Easter is the coloring of eggs
The smell of fresh cooking for one's friends
An apple pie, a family picnic
A happy part of life
Saying a prayer to God above.

Oh, beauty surrounds us at Easter
with the deepest kind of love
