Because Of You

Within the whispers of soft fading light
The music ebbed and flowed,
Rippling from the heart of one
Who's tenderness I know.

I felt no rush of sudden movement
All was hushed and very still,
But, softly I could feel the presence
Of a love I knew was real.

There was no need for words
The heavens pulsated, with all there was to say
Permeating the starry night
With a glorious display.

I could see it lingering softly in your eyes
And imbued within your sigh,
Your hand shyly reaching out to touch
Inside this heart of mine

The darkness encircled with its seal
Separating us from sight,
Yet, the very depths of those shadows
Drew us closer in the night.

Then because of you... the earth stood still
What more to pursue,
When because of you, time ceased to be
The moment complete, all because of you.
