~ Because We Care ~

The family is getting together
Thanksgiving we will share
With those less fortunate than us
It's all because we care.

We'll load up some boxes
And fill them with canned goods
We'll travel to the city
And far out in the woods.

We'll bring them all the fixins'
Everything they will need
So they can have Thanksgiving
Their children they can feed.

Tears fill up their eyes
You know their kitchen is bare
So on this Thanksgiving day
Please show them that you care.
