Careful, careful little Bear
The bees are flying everywhere
When climbing up the tree for honey
Watch those bees, their stings aren't funny!

If you should tumble, you'll have to crawl
As your cushy butt, won't break your fall
Go slowly, watch, and listen good
For there're bees a buzzing in the wood

If you're careful, you'll soon reap
That pot of honey, bittersweet
More than enough, to last all winter
But take care not to get a splinter

Sleep well now, my beary friend
Keep God close, for love he'll send
Take a nap, rise in the morning
Feeling refreshed, with spirit soaring
