~ Believe ~
It's time to settle down and
find out what's right and
true.
To assimilate, reorganize,
the frame of mind when it is
blue.
The retelling of stories so
old,
revealing the core of our
being.
Of a God so mighty and
awesome,
who loves us unconditionally
with feeling.
Do you realize what God has
done,
to free us from our evil ways?
He sent His only Son to die
for us,
all sin erased, if we believe,
what He says.
Over two thousand years ago,
this stirring, chilling event
took place.
The wrong thinking of some
men,
found an innocent man in
disgrace.
With prejudice and tempers
flowing,
God's son was nailed to a
wooden cross.
This sinless man who bore our
sins,
God placed them there, his
life a loss.
Yet in the darkest moments of
His death,
a light shone, as the veil was
torn.
For our sins, He suffered
unspeakably,
for love was given, men's
souls reborn.
Remember the One who died for
us,
Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
believable.
Repent, kneel in prayer, give
thanks,
all sins forgiven, God's plan
achievable.
