We have been best friends a long while
Sharing the good times and the bad
Always greeting with a hug and a smile
And helping each other when sad.
Having true best friends is rare
I am blessed with ones that care
I try to show them in every way
How special they are to me today.
Each day may God give each of you
Beautiful roses sparkling with dew
That unfold in the morning sun
And bloom until day is done.
So, I give many thanks today
To God up above
For sending me best friends
That I can cherish and love.
