A light it shines for me,

The music beyond the song
Pulling me above.
The heart beyond the heart
Is deeper than I know,
How could I love just so,
To see within the soul,
To touch, where only God can go.
His love alone can reach
The love beyond ourselves
To heal the deepest hurt
Set free the wounded heart
To live a life apart.
A life beyond this life,
With it's chains of deepest tears,
I reach beyond to grasp
God's arms enfold me close
