~ Bless The Children
~
Lord bless the children who don't understand
Why they were dealt such a heavy hand
Give them the strength to face each day
Ease their fears, please show them the way
Help the parents who's hearts do despair
Let them know that You are still there
Lend your strength to ease all their fears
With your love, wipe away their tears
We do not ask for you to change their path
Just ease their fear is all we ask
These are just children too young to know
Why their parent's fear just seems to grow
In your wisdom please give them another day
So they may with laughter, go out and play
We ask this of You, from our own true love
In the name of Jesus, in heaven above
