I Wish I
Could
Bring Back
Yesterday
If I could
bring back
yesterday,
I would
give love
more
lavishly,
I would
hold my
children
more
often,
I would
teach them
to speak
truthfully
No matter
the cost;
Lying is
never
profitable;
It will
cause
their
precious
souls
To be lost
I would
teach my
children
each day,
Not to
strive for
vain
glory,
For the
things of
this world
Will soon
pass away,
If I could
bring back
yesterday,
I would be
more
considerate,
More
thoughtful,
More
generous,
I would
share what
God
Has shared
with me,
I would
pray more
fervently
On bended
knee,
I would be
more
forgiving,
More
tolerant,
more kind,
More
patient,
To those
who are
not
tolerant,
Kind and
patient,
Selflessness
is the key
The length
of our
lives is
uncertain,
It is as
the
morning
fog
You see it
but for a
time,
Then it is
gone
If only I
could
bring back
yesterday

The wisdom
that comes
from
heaven
is
first of
all pure;
then
peace-loving,
considerate,
submissive,
full of
mercy and
good
fruit,
impartial
and
sincere.
James 3:
17
