~ Burdens ~

Some problems, awkward situations,
call for attention from another.
It's when I seek and try to find a
solution and not get smothered.

The forthcoming words of wisdom,
experience helps me from going under.
Keeps the wolves from baying as
I struggle amidst the rain and thunder.

Am I the only one who finds life so hard,
straining, pulling in different directions.
Trying to balance, correct, straighten
the coils of deception to perfection?

Is it only me who finds the dark side,
while showing my best side to the world.
Or is it the opposites of attractions
that sets my inner being in a twirl.

Pardon me while I set my priorities,
lost in busyness and current need.
A sense of hope, encouragement I feel
will fulfill obligations, as they come to seed.

My Lord, My Savior, is always at my side,
I know I forgot, He listens as I grieve.
He's the constant, everlasting part of my life
always there, I know as I receive.

Let my heart, my whole being realize,
I am never alone nor forsaken by Him.
He's my All in everything I do and say
I rejoice in church as I pray and sing a hymn.
