It's God's shining light,
I feel hope and love in my
heart
He's here with me tonight.
He places a cross above my
head
As we pray for the child
who feels all alone,
Brought up in a family not
seeming to care
In a family that is not
their own.
I see a candle by my window
A light so a child will not
cry,
I do not want them to
wonder "just who am I"
Why does their way only
tell me lies...
You must travel many
mountains
And many valleys down
below,
Can they see the moon and
the falling stars
Can't they see I need to
know?
Do they see the light
from my candle
And wish they could find
me,
Will they live their whole
life wondering
Why is it we could not see?
I see a candle by my window
It's seen by those I love
Show me a way, show me a
sign
Give me a miracle from
above.
God I pray to you as I
never prayed before
I was once lost and could
not find my way,
Can you bring me my mother
and help my father
Can this miracle happen
today?
