Can There Be Peace This Independence Day ~
If I could have one dream and have it come true
It would be for every country to know freedom shining through
If we could have World peace, just for a while
Then maybe all the people could begin a little smile
Here in America are all our hopes and dreams
We paid our price for freedom, and that is what life means
If only countries could sign with great leaders of today
Maybe have another 1776, and live happily every day
Just think, no war and no one trying for first place
There would be nothing to be ashamed of
No color, race or what we believe
For God created all of us
I do not want one child among us to grieve
So my wish is for everyone to make friends, even for a week or two
Like our fore-fathers before us, let each country be re-newed
By the special people, so no gray clouds will ever be
As we be grateful for our nation
Where we can say and do what we please.
