~ Can You Hear What I Write ~
I put my heart into
my words just for you
Trying to tell you of my feelings deep inside,
You read the words, this I know you do
Do you hear what is said between the lines.
I try to paint you a picture of my heart
With words, which is the only way I know,
The sentences themselves are just a start
I want the meaning behind them to show.
It is hard for me
to express how I feel
So in poetry I try to show you my love,
Painting a picture of my passions revealed
Of a soul dedicated to you, the only one.
Read my words, but listen to them as well
There is more behind them, if you can see
The story of my love for you they tell
A love that I want for you to also seek.
So, can you hear the words that I write
What is being said of my feelings for you,
See them with more than just your sight
Can you feel the meaning painted so true.
