Can you feel the heartbeat,
Pulsing deep within?
Can you hear the bodhran
A'chantin' Gaelic hymns?
Beating in the morning,
And again at setting sun,
Joining pipes and voices
When the day is done.
Rapping on the goatskin,
With knuckles old and worn,
Lending feet a-tappin'
And conjuring a storm!
Twists and turns to capture,
Like a Celtic knot,
Souls will feel be enraptured
By the piper's thought…
Uilleann pipes a' begging
Come and join the throng…
Come and feel the heartbeat
Of a Celtic song!
