The cherished you of me
Resides within
The me you know...
The me you cannot see for now
Will still belong
As part of all you are
That reaches forth to touch
Within our sacred bond
So gently soft
Yet ever strong

For life eternal flows between
From me to you
And back unseen
A joy to treasure
Ever dream
Our hopes remembered
Bound to keep
Through smiles and tears
Entwined about
Our heart to hold
Where none can see
But God apart
Our life our loving
Held secure
Forever pure
To care as now
