~ Christmas ~

Where is my Christmas Spirit,
It seems to have run away.
I don't feel much like celebrating,
And it's so close to Christmas Day.

I have no lights that decorate,
My little Christmas Tree,
No tinsel, or garland, or ornaments,
And we all know, that's not me.

I have no lights around my roof,
No lights are on my deck.
I have no blow up Snowman,
I've just said what the heck.

I have no presents wrapped,
With lovely paper and bows.
No Christmas music is playing,
I'm not even praying that it snows.

Someone is trying to take Christ,
Right out of Christmas Day.
They have replaced our Savior,
With Happy Holiday.

I also hear Season's Greetings,
As the shoppers go 'bout the store.
What is wrong with the people,
Do they not care anymore.

Christ is the reason,
That Christmas came to be
A little child born in a stable,
Is the reason we celebrate you see.

So if they take the reason,
We celebrate on Christmas Day.
What reason would you have,
To celebrate Christmas anyway.

So let's put Christ back in Christmas,
And let us not stop there.
Let us stand up for our rights,
And bring God back to school in prayer !!
