~ Christmas Day ~
Christmas day will soon be here
With all the presents and lights
The Day will be spent celebrating
The birth upon a special starlit night.
We will be with our friends and families
Exchanging our presents with one another
Enjoying all the food that has been cooked
By our aunts, our Moms and our Grandmothers.
We may sing all our favorite Christmas carols
Or we may watch our favorite Christmas shows
Or just enjoy an old time favorite story
Or try out new sleds upon the newly fallen snow.
But no matter what is planned for the day
Let us remember what the season is about
It is to celebrate the Birthday of Jesus Christ
And that is true my friend, on this I do not doubt.
