~ Christmas Night ~
Christmas time is here again
There's laughter all around
It brings out the child in us
And no one's feeling down.
We're singing Christmas carols
And spreading our good cheer
As family gather together
At this time of the year!
Momma's got her apron on
Baking cookies and pumpkin pie
While daddy's in his easy chair
With a twinkle in his eye!
As evening comes upon us
We gather around the tree.
Dad and mom sit hand in hand
And the kid's faces fill with glee
We read the Christmas story
Then we bow our heads in prayer.
It's the night of the Savior's birth,
And wise men came with gifts to bear.
On the night of His birth
A star shone, oh, so bright.
To show the way to the little babe,
Jesus Christ was born that night.
