~ A Christmas Prayer For You ~

Dearest friend, here I am
Searching for the right words to say
To wish you a beautiful and blessed
Merry Christmas Day.

I pray for you a table filled with food
Along with happiness, joy and peace
And always family and friends to love
The greatest blessing, sent from GOD above.

With your friendship, I have been so blessed
Past memories, I hold so dear
Many miles may keep us apart
But I hold you lovingly, always in my heart.

I desire today, to knock on your door
And share this Christmas Day with you
Please know if I could, it is for sure
What I would most certainly do.
