Closer than all other

Your secrets and your worries
Yet, loves you more and more

Do you have that wonderful friend
Who goes everywhere with you
Never leaves you day or night
Ever faithful, trusted, true

Do you have that perfect lover
Who will forever hold
All you are, warmly to His heart
So precious to His soul

Do you have that precious Savior
Who hears your every call
Who is closer than a heartbeat
And lives to be your all
