~Close To His Heart~
If we
sit so very still
And listen
with our heart,
Then love just may flutter by
With gentle wings to fly.
For love eludes us when we try
To force it
with our mind,
It will only come to rest
When it's something we can't find.
For as we give up all the searching
And ask,
when toil is done,
Then Jesus whispers soft and low
I was always calling,

you
to come.
