Come, Dance My Little Pretty ~
So delightful are
the birds God made,
The sweetest friends of all,
With their tender little touch of love,
And their joyful call.
He sends them near to say hello,
Whenever we are low,
They come up close to dance a jig
Just to say... God knows!
And there among the leaves so green,
A blissful flock will play,
Chirping away their happy song,
Such pretty wings to flay.
And in the freshness of the mornings
In the first warm rays of light,
How glad they are to be alive,
With song to chase away the night.
Come, dance my little pretty,
Come, sing to me God's tune,
Come, share your loveliness,
Don't fly away too soon.
