New Grandparent
Congratulations
Upon your rite-of-passage
to Grandparenthood,
The time you've longed for
has finally arrived,
inside you are exploding,
there are not enough
words in the English language
to describe
your emotions,
and deep felt pride.
Grandchildren are a gift
from God,
never sent here alone,
but sent with guardian angels
to sooth them with song,
singing hymns only
a baby can hear
whispering sweet lullabies
in baby's ear,
'Behold the eyes of their
angel doth always
behold the face of God'
As a grandparent you too
may sing a new song,
one of joy, hope and love
whispering in
this child's ear
words of wisdom
inspired from above.
