~ I Counted My
Blessings ~
When I woke this morning did not feel good
Wanted to hide my head under the sheets
Still after my coffee my head felt like wood
Stumbled to the computer unsteady on my feet
First thing I saw a poem of life's blessings
So I thought I would see what mine would be
I looked at my friend's list and did some counting
There it was your name there in front of me
I thought of the time we have shared together
The laughs and chats times so very good
Even when I am feeling under the weather
But always you have left me in a far better mood
So there was you, 3 or 4 others I counted too
So the Lord did give many blessings to count
Now my head is clear starting to feel so good
Because when I counted my blessings you did belong
