~ Day Of Remembrance ~
I send to you my love and prayer
For the sadness felt today
The memories, the remembrance
That will never go away
The pride, the cherished wonder
Of our beloved who bravely gave
Their lives and all their future
For freedom to be gained
There is really little we can say
As words will never be enough
To express our gratitude
For giving all their love
So on this day of reverence
In quiet silence we recall
The courage of the lives of those
Who gave to us their all
God's blessings
as you commemorate today
