~ Days Grow Long ~
The days grow long, the
nights unending...
Where is the peace of
mind?
Life is chaotic, growing
is tiresome,
and wisdom so hard to
come by.
What are we doing? Is
this the way?
Sometimes I get so
confused.
Life should be happy,
yet it's full of hate,
sorrow, death, and
abuse.
But this we are
promised: life won't be
easy,
nor paths always be
clear.
Sometimes you must
diligently seek
to find that lost trail.
So dear, pick me up my
darling,
for often I stumble on
pebbles in my
way.
Someday
I'll be stronger and
able to run...
unlike I feel today.
