dearest friend,
As I sit here today with pen
and paper, thinking of you.
From my heart to yours,
I want you to know
I treasure all the little things
that we share day to day.
The little poems you write,
with caring and heart felt words,
that touches lives near and far.
The funny jokes and cards you send,
just in time when I need that little lift,
they keep me smiling all day long.
The e-mail that you send,
always touches my heart.
For it comes
from you with love.
My dearest friend,
you are a real treasure.
I'm glad I have today
to share with you,
all the little things,
that brings us together
day to day.
