~ A DELIGHTFUL DAY WITH YOU ~

When at last the evening comes
And another day is through,
I often think back on my day
And the thoughtful things you do.

I smile at each kind thing you've done
And thank my God above
That He sent me a friend to trust
Someone that I could love.

Someone who is kind and true,
Who has God in their heart.
A friend who will last for life,
And will never ever depart.

You're my friend, and I love you,
You are a gift of love,
That God has bestowed on me,
A blessing from above!

So tonight as I watch the stars come out
And shine their light in shades of blue,
I'll thank Him for our friendship
And for one more delightful day with you.
