~Delight Of My Heart~

Delight of my heart, so precious to me
Will your life flow, as you choose it to be
Or is there a plan, a course set for you
For you to follow, a way that is true

A key is to find, to open life's door
What you see here is passing, for you to find more
To shake loose the shackles, that hold you to earth
Jesus life is the treasure of perfect worth

There are no dreams, apart from the Lord
No aspirations, but found in His word
He is the door, His strength is the way
He steers the course, to guide every day

So take hold His hand, to walk through the night
The weapons are His, His sword is the light
In Him is that peace, for which we crave
Drawn from His love, in the life that He gave
