~ Departure At Dawn ~

When the morning comes around
And you awake and find me gone
Don't cry and get upset
The Lord called for me at dawn.

It was His plan for me to go
I didn't want to leave you
But He assured me you would go on
This path He chose for you.

I know you must be feeling sad
And I know that you will miss me
But please have joy within your heart
Because the Lord has set my spirit free.

But my essence will always be with you
I'll never leave your side
Forever we will be united
Our souls the Lord has tied.
