The Dogwood Tree ~
Of all
GOD'S creation of trees
It is the beauty of this
one that most blesses me
Its' flower blooms in a
splendor of glory
Beautifully telling
redemption's story.
Its petals are in the
shape of the cross
And the crown of thorns
format its' center
Visible is the blood
from the nail prints
To remind us today, of
cleansing the sinner.
Oh, what an awesome
painful price
On that tree for us was
paid
When on The precious Son
Of GOD
All our sins were laid.
HE lovingly bore them
all for us
JESUS our SAVIOR, GOD'S
only beloved SON
Willingly shed HIS
Precious blood,
That our salvation could
be won.
