~ Dreams Come True ~

I always thought that dreams were unreal
They were just a wish of how something would feel
A fantasy that you wanted to see come to pass
But never meaning more than just wishes cast.

Of a life that you wanted but never would realize
Beauty and love that would be such a wonderful ride
Flights of fancy that showed you all there is to see
Just a place at night that would set you free.

Then you entered my life and I remembered a dream
You were the woman that I had always seen
Giving me happiness I never thought could be mine
You showed me that a love like this took time.

Now I know that it's not just an empty saying
The world can become what I was constantly praying
Since you showed me your love in all you say and do
I now know that if you look, dreams do come true.
