~ Drum Beats Of My Heart ~
I feel it
in my hands and in my feet,
within me I know that wondrous beat.
My heart beats with the melody of the drum.
With the tuneful strains I continue to hum.
It's an intricate part of me, I've found,
when that beat begins to surround.
I know the Great Spirit Creator doth reign,
I feel His vibrations in my veins.
With each beat, I know He has set me free.
In the drums, I hear the Creator call to me.
With the Great Spirit Creator I am as one,
as I feel my heart beat with the drum.
