~ Each New Day ~

Each day is a brand new beginning
Each day brings a brand new life
Each day brings plenty of sunshine
And happiness and sorrow and strife.

Each day brings with it a new dawn
Each new day brings smiles and tears
Each day brings us lots of challenges
Each new day brings us sorrows and fears.

Each new day will not be like the last one
Each new day will bring excitement anew
Each new day will bring us new friends
Like it did the first day I met each of you.

But no matter what each new day brings
I know our Lord Jesus will be by my side
There is nothing we can't conquer together
I will walk with my head held up with pride.
