I listened to the music
Of the birds that flew on high
And admired all the pretty clouds
That forever scud on by

I thought of every baby born
The precious gift of life
All their precious wonder
Of purest sweet delight

I took in all the color
The sounds as tinkling bells
I thanked my Heavenly Father
For He does all things well

I worshipped at His very throne
The glory of His heart
For giving me eternity
To be part of all that lasts

I mused on my beginnings
Of all the yesterdays He gave
And then, I thanked Him,
for each special one within my heart
Who share all this lovely lovin'
that can never ever go away
