I meet my God in the morning
When I am fresh from my rest,
He walks with me in my lovely garden
Giving me courage to do my best.

All day His presence lingers,
By my side He stays with me
As I go my way with calmness
Never worry about what might be.

Troubles never leave me battered
Others around may be in distress,
In keeping my mornings with God
He brings me love, peace, and rest.

I will share with you this secret
Never walk in your own way
Always meet God in early morning
Let Him guide you through the day.
