Lord I pray I won't be empty handed
When my Savior up there I meet
When upon eternal shores I've landed
I want to lay some gifts, Lord, at your feet
Help me win some more souls for Jesus
An example please help my life to be
As the Savior so tenderly leadeth
Help me not come empty handed unto Thee
When this short and troubled life is over
Will there be a crown of life for me?
Lead me gently Savior over Jordan
May I not come empty handed unto Thee
