Father Can You Hear Me ~
Father can you hear me,
when I cry to You at night?
I feel so all alone sometimes,
searching for a light.
My world is closing in on me
I need Your helping hand
I cannot fight this battle
unless You help me stand.
I've tried to live my life
in the spirit of Thy will;
I've sometimes fallen down
as I climb another hill.
But this time it’s a mountain,
so high I cannot see
the path that I must travel;
so now to You I plea.
Lies are told as truths
and evil’s at my door
Father won't you help me
to fight this deadly war?
Men who hide in shadows,
with hatred in their hearts,
are trying to destroy my life
and tear my world apart.
So Father can you hear me
as I cry to you this night?
Father send me angels,
to aid me in this fight.
My Son I am beside you,
though this battle may be
long.
I'll walk you through the
fire,
for I know you are strong.
Righteousness and honor
are the armor you must wear
let your faith go forward
and lean on Me with prayer.
My angels will attend you
and guide you through the
storm,
they'll never leave your side
they'll keep you safe from
harm.
Yes, my son, I hear you
as you cry to Me at night,
I never have forsaken you,
your battle is My fight.
