~ Favourite Colors ~

"What Is my favorite color?",
This you ask of me.
"Well," I reply after thinking,
"I can narrow it down to three.

"My first favorite color", I say,
Would have to be blood red,
For every drop of precious blood
That my dear Savior shed."

"My second favorite color
Would be that of purest gold,
For that's the color that I'll see
When my Father's throne I behold!"

"The final color would be white,"
As my eyes toward heaven stare,
For the robe of purest white
That my Redeemer said I'll wear!"

"But closely behind these colors
Are all the others my eyes see
That God has set as a covenant,
A rainbow just for me!"

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I
make between me and you and every living creature that
is with you, for perpetual generations.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a token
of a covenant between me and the earth.

And, it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over
the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me
and you and every creature of the flesh; and the
waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all
flesh;

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I shall look
upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant
between God and every living creature of all flesh
that is on the earth.
Genesis 9:12-16
