Many people enter our lives
Each and every day
Some will stay and linger around
While others go on their way.

Some people will touch our very minds
Their wisdom they do extend
While others make us stop and think
And hope they don't offend.

Some people are capable of touching our souls
They are there for the long haul
By your side through thick and thin
And they'll pick you up when you fall.

But my dear friend, you are just that
You said you would never part
You've touched the very core of me
You've left your fingerprints on my heart.
