~  Forgive Our Trespasses ~

While I was praying the prayer of God
Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
I prayed that he would forgive my trespasses
As I forgave those who trespassed against me;
I was put to shame,
Oh my sin, my sin.
How could I possibly ask God to forgive me
When I am guilty of being unpardonable,
I repeated this again;.
As I forgive those who trespass against me.
Matthew 6:15

"But if you do not forgive man
Their sins, your Father will not
Forgive your sins."

Hurts from the past, like ghosts
Haunting me came floating
Through my heart and I began to cry...
I asked God, "Why?"

My child, if you want me to forgive you,
You MUST forgive them
So that you may be presented blameless, spotless,
Before His throne;
Put to death whatever belongs to your earthy nature,
Rid yourselves of anger, rage, malice and slander
Cloth yourselves with compassion,
Kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,
And above all forgiveness.
[Colossians the third chapter.]

As impossible as this seems to be,
It is a commandment,
I again went to God on bended knee
Please accept my apology.
